This scene starts off switching back and forth from Kimmie (the daughter) in a bedroom in a luxury apart workforcet in Paris, France in the summertime around 1:00 p.m. to a the Brian Mills (the father) in a one-bedroom apartment in Los Angeles, California, at approximately 4:30 am. Kimmie dressed as an frank typical teenage girl is underneath a in truth elaborate canopy bed where the bed skirt has a satin finish in gold trim and the room bears light plush carpet with honey stained hard wood flooring right outside the bedroom. Brians apartment is sort of the opposite set-up. He has tan walls with abstract pictures that look give care they come from a hotel. The windows have old looking curtains and a precise dark atmosphere. He dresses in attire non too different from the takers which are black. The only signs of life are a refrigerated that holds pictures of himself with Kimmie or Kimmie alone (see appendix A-setting map).




The genial role that Kimmie is portraying at this time is one of a scared little girl desperate for her father.
