The task:

Your assignment is to preserve a 4-5 page paper abeting a polity position. You be to answer one of the policy challenges downstairs. The paper is to be based on your informed opinion. As opinion pieces, these papers may take a controversial stand. You will non be graded on your opinion but on how well you support your argument.

Policy questions:

Choose one of the questions below for your paper. If you would like to address a policy question that is not listed below, you must get prior permission from your TA.

Format of the paper:

1.Introductory separate: why is this issue important?
2.Overview of the issue. What is the current policy? What is the (brief) annals of this policy?



What population is served?
3. tot a yes answer to the question. What are the arguments by those who support a yes answer to the question?
4.Summarize a no answer to the question. What are the arguments by those who support a no answer to the question?
5.What is your position? formulate why you took that position. Use facts and personal and/or social race values to support your position. Make sure there is a good balance between the facts and your values.

Requirements:

Your position should be support by a minimum of three sources that are cited from kinsperson readings, lectures, and outside sources.
