Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind Analysis

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind

This is the premiere time I watch Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and I must say it is now one of my favorite moving pictures. It is real original, eccentric, and one of the best alternative impressions I have seen so far. The mise-en-scene of the movie was very well thought of and very impressive. Charlie Kaufman did a wonderful job with the script as a sci-fi horizontal surface which examines humans relationships and the role memory has in shaping us and its role in write out and heart break.

The performance of Jim Carrey was spectacular as the self-examining withdrawn Joel; One of his best performances so far. Kate Winslet pulled it off beautifully, as always, as the impulsive, vibrant, and outgoing Clementine and her spirit was emphasized by her constantly-changing bright hair color. But I phone its a sting of a cliché for an introverted shy withdrawn guy to fall in love with an impulsive outgoing girl and for her to get him out of his bubble.

The movie is a bit complicated and confusing when you see it for the first time because of the non-chronological (non-linear) edict of the story but I think it serves the story very well. It emphasizes Joels state of mind and his confusion, struggling, and fear.

What is also a bit confusing is when Joels memories start overlapping and you cant tell which ones are real and which arent. Thats why I think this movie has to be watched at least cardinal times to get the whole story and details.

The Cinematography of the movie is beautiful. Almost all the scenes were shot with a handheld television camera which reflects the confusion and fear that Joel and Clementine are feeling and it also engages the audience. Only one shot was static; the birds view shot...If you want to get a full essay, order it on our website: Ordercustompaper.com
