Introduction
Home Depot is a fortune d company, which was started by Bernie Marcus and Arthur Blank, headquartered in Atlanta, GA. This company was incorporated on June 29, 1978. Their first gear store opened in Atlanta, GA on Jun 22, 1979. right away they get to 2,245 stores including 1,972 stores in the U.S. and territories of Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands, Guam, and 180 stores in Canada, 7 stores in China and 86 stores in Mexico.
Home Depot is the fastest growing retail store in America. They have 321,000 employees. They made 20.2 billion dollars last quarter this fiscal year. The companys ticker symbol is HD and is traded on the New York demarcation Exchange (Home Depot, 2011).
Home Depot offers a variety of products for the do-it-yourselfers. They mark in building material for home improvements; and have classes in the store to teach the customers how to install tile, flooring, windows, etc. They have classes for each major project to improve your home and do-it-yourself.
