COURSE DESCRIPTION
Principles of Biology I is an introductory college-level campaign that provides students with an understanding of the levels of organization of living things from atoms to the biosphere, the processes that comport life, and scientific methodology. The course meets the academic requirements for a laboratory course for nonmajors, a transfer course for students seeking a four-year degree, and a prerequisite for additional courses required of students seeking a rush in science.
