William Shakespeare
William Shakespeare was baptise 26 April 1564; died 23 April 1616. He was an English poet and playwright, wide regarded as the greatest writer in the English language. His plays fill been translated into every major living language and are performed to a greater extent very much than those of any other plays written. William Shakespeare was the son of John Shakespeare, a successful glover and alderman originally from Snitterfield. His actual birth date is unknown, unless is traditionally observed on 23 April, St Georges Day. He was the third child of eight and the eldest surviving son. Although no attention records for the period survived, most biographers agree that Shakespeare may have been enlightened at the Kings New School in Stratford, a unfreeze school day chartered in 1553. At the age of 18, Shakespeare unify the 26-year-old Anne Hathaway. The consistory court of the Diocese of Worcester issued a matrimony license on 27 November 1582. Six months after the marriage, she gave birth to a daughter, Susanna, who was baptized on 26 May 1583. The bride was the eldest daughter of a family from Shottery, on the outskirts of Stratford-upon-Avon.
Nothing is known about the circumstances of their marriage and relationship, but we may assume Anne stayed in the house in Stratford-upon-Avon while Shakespeare forged his career in London. From 1594-1608 Shakespeare worked for the London orbit World. Little is known about Shakespeares activities between 1585 and 1592. Robert Greenes A Groatsworth of jest alludes to him as an actor and playwright. Shakespeare may have taught at school during this period, but it seems more probable that shortly after 1585 he went to London to begin his apprenticeship as an actor. Due to the plague, the London theaters were often closed between June 1592 and April 1594.
