Nelson Kaplan University It was September 11, 2001, a day that changed the lives of all in all Americans in some way. Monumental buildings were destroyed, on with thousands of lives. Since then, we attain been picking up the pieces and finding ways to collide with on. Some people may n incessantly be suitable to move on completely because of racial profile. Racial profiling has always been an issue, but it seems that every time something horrible happens, in particular an historical event like 9/11, it delineates even worse. In the case of the attacks on the World Trade Center, one of the groups that have been targeted is Muslims. Since the attacks, stereotyping against Muslims has escalated profusely. Since that fateful day in 2001, the media has been focusing on not only the War in Iraq, but on all wars and bombings worldwide. Most people would agree that media tends to focus mainly on the forbid side of certain issues, especially the wars. All the negative news about Iraq, and yet nothing positive seems to ever be shown, leading people to believe that anyone from Iraq must be evil or a terrorist. One such caseful of the stereotyping since the September 11 attacks is ethnic profiling at airports. Anyone appearance to be Muslim is being pulled aside for extra display and remove from planes for such things as their appearance or for praying.
If soulfulness nips uncomfortable because someone looks Muslim or is speaking in Arabic, they can then effectively have that person removed from the airplane because they do not feel safe.
