Adolf Hitler Hitler was born in Braunau am Inn, Austria, on April 20, 1889. He was the give-and-take of a minor customs official and a barbarian girl. Hitler was sentenced to five years captivity but only served eight months. During those eight months in prison house he wrote his autobiography Mein Kampf(My Struggle).

When the Great Depression struck in 1929, promising a strong Germany, jobs, and national glory, he attracted millions of voters. Hitler came to inviolate power in 1933. When was in power, he took thousands of anti-Nazis off to absorption camps, gave jobs to everyone who was a Nazi, and managed to make German people believe in him to take control over all Europe. He negated the creation of human equality and claimed racial superiority for the Germans. As the reduce or Aryan race, they were told, they had the right to dominate all nations they wanted.
